The senior year of high school is filled with a series of “lasts.” Throughout this school year, Natalie has noted “This will be the last time that I…” It began with volleyball season in the fall, followed by a tearful senior night. And on and on through the year – last Fall Festival, last play production, last time photographing a football/basketball/volleyball/soccer game, last Prom, last softball season – and this past week, the last Senior Night of the last home game of the last season. Again, a tearful remembrance of hard fought games, gratifying wins, great plays made, mountainside bus breakdowns, homework on the road, exhausting late night returns, and through it all, growing comraderie over the past four years. What a lovely thing it is to have true friends with whom lifelong memories were made!
I think the only big goodbye we have on the agenda now is the grand finale in May – Graduation day! I suspect there may be a party…
