Right around noon on Thursday, Alyssa returned to school from yet another visit to the orthodontist – but this time, instead of suffering through the rest of the day in pain, she was smiling. After two-and-a-half years, she had her braces removed!

And today I got to do a little photo shoot. Alyssa is not a fan of photo shoots, but I managed to coax a few smiles out of her anyway to show off the gorgeous results of her long and torturous orthodontic ordeal. And of course, Paul had to photobomb.
Then we went and got her some Cali Tacos for her troubles.
