Despite my surpassing joy over my long awaited return to the ranch, I knew I’d be better off if we went home Saturday rather than Sunday, and the kids were anxious to return as well. They agreed to a little portrait shoot for me before we took off, and even though I was afraid the sun was way too harsh, I stuck them under a tree and managed to get a few I really liked in the end. I used the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 for these.
