In Which Our Senior Embarks Upon a Class Trip

March 1st Paul had to be up at the crack of well before dawn. He had to get Natalie to the school by 4:15am so she’d be aboard the bus and ready to depart at 4:30 for the airport. The senior class was off to Washington D.C. for a week of learning and seeing the sites, and that meant walking their butts off for several days in a row.

It took her a couple of days to start sending back photos of the fun, and I got more after she returned the following Saturday morning at 1:30am. Her first airplane ride and trip outside of Arizona! It sounded like they were well managed by their chaperone cohort, and were able to see many important places, as well as have some fun. They went to the Capitol of course, and the Washington and Lincoln monuments, the Vietnam memorial, some museums, the botanical gardens, a hockey game, and the Zoo.
