On the third Sunday of Advent, Gaudete Sunday, we rejoice (and light the pink candle!).
After mass, it was “over the river and through the woods, to Grandmother’s house we go”! No special events, just a chance to have a cozy, Christmassy afternoon at Grandma’s house. I feel like I probably cut things short, as I “took a turn for the worse” as they say, and we needed to head home shortly after eating lunch. (It was nothing serious, just got a bit woozy and was having a lot of back pain that day.) But this little collection of photos aptly conveys the mood.
