I’ve been meaning to do some portraits for ever, but it’s been hard to find a willing subject, for one thing, and for another, it’s just so ridiculously cramped in this house and figuring out a studio space has been challenging.
I finally just threw my collapsible backdrop up in the office and Ellie volunteered to model and off we went. I decided to use my EF 100mm F/2.8 L and adapt it to my Canon EOS R6. It’s one of the better lenses I have, and I haven’t really used it much except for macro work so this was an interesting experiment.
I’m pretty happy with how they turned out, although I still want to get at least one more softbox light.
