On this first Monday of the year, and last Monday of the Christmas holidays, I was ever grateful that, after rising around 5:30am briefly, I was able to get back to sleep until after 10am. Oh the glory of children sleeping in! And I was only awakened by my husband, informing me he was off to take Efrain, Lyss and Ellie on a hike in the White Tanks, and did I want him to bring my camera? Well obviously yes!
