A Quiet Sunday

A Quiet Sunday

It was a quiet Sunday morning at our house. Jordan and Efrain were spending the weekend at Grandma’s, while Natalie had an overnight with Laurent and Geneva. We few, we happy few, got ourselves ready and off to mass in good time. We had the Bishop celebrating mass today, and his homily was very meaningful to me. I have queued it up to the beginning of the gospel reading, followed by the homily, below, if you want to watch.

After mass we went over to Grandma’s house and had a lovely relaxing time, watched the golf players on the greenway with Grandma’s cool binoculars, ate some delicious lasagna, and then headed home again with the rest of our crew.

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
