Fist of all, for the February Photo Fun! This month I have been working on learning shutter priority, which of course is going to take a long time to perfect. But as soon as something clicks in my brain and I can apply it and see a result, I am so pumped!
Here was my first effort at freezing kids in action. I think the only drawback to these is the trampoline netting. I have read that with the new mirrorless cameras their AI focus can remove or ignore when shooting through netting or fences, which is pretty cool.
Secondly, yesterday we were able to gather at Grandma’s to celebrate her 82nd trip around the sun! Almost all of us were there, and there were after-church donuts, lots of running around and playing on the patio, a tremendous amount of laughter, and for lunch, delicious New York Pizza, Carrot Cake and Chocolate Decadence. So much sweet! Too much for me, I barely had a corner of carrot cake, but it was amazing. We are so blessed to have one another. I treasure every moment of family time.
Ellie got to have full use of the little Panasonic Lumix FZ60 camera for the day, and here are her best shots:
Here are my phone pix, since I always like to have a few of those…
And finally these few, these happy few…
Another Fabulously Fun February Fiesta in the books!
