Sunday Grandma Time

Sunday Grandma Time

We count our blessings every time we get a chance to drive across the valley to see Grandma Pat! She is so loved all her “grand-things” adore her (her Great-grandthing too!) and spending time at her house. As with our big kids when they were young, she has been taking two kids at a time for weekends. This past week it was Xavier and Natalie – and since they are older, ostensibly more responsible and able to work independently, they were granted a dispensation to stay through Monday and do their distance learning from her house. So when we would normally have been picking them up, we instead drove over for lunch and brought their laptops so they would be ready to go in the a.m.

Meg and Patrick came along, and Laurent, so it was a full and noisy house. I handed off the camera to Megan and she took the loveliest set of photos of the kids!

I homeschooled four kids all the way through high school and then fostered/adopted 7 more children. I am wife to a very smart mathematician; I dabble in photography, write and sing, paint in bright colors, and love being Catholic!
