Our front yard has been in dire need of a whole lot of TLC for quite a while, as you can probably tell from this shot! We tried a few years ago to rock the yard, and Paul did the job himself. It was back breaking work! Unfortunately, he didn’t have the correct supplies for preventing regrowth of weeds, and so here is where we ended up, despite weekly weed-whacking. The bushes were overgrown and wild looking… it was just a mess!
However, landscaping is not free, and it took a while for the yard to rise to the top of our list of priorities. This year’s tax refund made a transformation possible, and I can only imagine how delighted Paul’s Dad would be with the results!
My goodness, toggling between the first and last photos is amazing! We are thrilled with the new look! Now my mission is to get that fence painted with a shiny fresh coat of black! (and maybe replace our rickety mailbox…)
