Saint Edmund Campion Missal Hymnal

A while ago Jeff sent me this link about a new Missal Hymnal coming out in January.  It is Part 6 in a 6 part series about the Saint Edmund Campion Missal Hymnal produced by the Corpus Christi Watershed.

Jeff had ordered a copy and, not knowing how long it would take to ship, had it sent here to our house, and it arrived today.  With his permission, I opened the package and had the joy of paging through this gorgeous volume.  My photos don’t do it justice, but I had to make an attempt.  For those who are remotely interested in these sorts of things, I’d encourage you to watch the video (with a beautiful William Byrd motet as background music) and also visit the Saint Edmund Campion Missal Hymnal page at Corpus Christi Watershed (note the short biography at the bottom of the page – yet another saint about whom I want to learn more). I am ordering one of these as soon as I can – for such a beautiful, high-quality book, it’s shockingly inexpensive at a mere $22.99.
